Our Distribution & Sales Support team aspires to maximize the success of our distribution partners and clients. Our knowledgeable and trusted team deliver essential information and support services, with an emphasis on enhancing performance and guiding professional development. We think strategically to build sales and business leadership skills that enable our partners to achieve excellence. The Retirement Representative provides group plan members with retirement income options including retirement illustrations/quotations to retain members and generate sales. This role develops retirement planning education material and holds product seminars for Wealth Management’s clients and provides subject matter expertise into product development and marketing activities.

What you’re responsible for:

  • Understand client needs and explain and advise on various retirement income options/products to ensure quality, accurate and timely service.

  • Prepare informational and promotional packages for potential prospects, including follow-up and response to questions.

  • Respond to concerns and questions, and present options to meet clients? needs and help client make an informed decision.

  • Arrange for new policy setup and encourage consolidation of retirement assets from the competition.

  • Develop annual service strategies for client retention and satisfaction for group retirement income clients.

  • Resolve escalated issues and act as point of contact for any questions or plan/income changes.

  • Deliver live or web-based educational sessions to educate and promote solutions.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for group retirement income options.

To join our team:

  • Completion of post-secondary education with 3-5 years of related experience.

  • Life License (or working towards).

  • Certified Employee Benefit Specialist or Retirement Plans Associate.

  • Certified Financial Planner would be an asset.
